Perhaps the most feared of all supernatural creatures, vampires are living dead humans who preserve their existence by sucking the life force, usually in the form of blood, out of others. In this way, they are functionally immortal, and older vampires have generally had a lot of time to acquire power and skill.
Thankfully, vampires have one major weakness. They cannot stand the sun. If a vampire spends more than a few seconds in direct sunlight, they crumble away to dust.
